Triply heavy baryon spectroscopy in the relativistic quark model

نویسندگان

چکیده

Triply heavy baryons are investigated in the framework of relativistic quark model based on quark-diquark picture quasipotential approach QCD. Masses ground and excited states $\Omega_{ccc}$, $\Omega_{bbb}$, $\Omega_{ccb}$ $\Omega_{cbb}$ calculated. Orbital radial excitations between diquark as well quarks inside considered. The internal structure is consistently taken into account by form factor diquark-gluon interaction expressed through overlap integral wave functions. detailed comparison with previous calculations given.

Heavy Baryon Transitions in a Relativistic Three-Quark Model

Exclusive semileptonic decays of bottom and charm baryons are considered within a relativistic three-quark model with a Gaussian shape for the baryon-three-quark vertex and standard quark propagators. We calculate the baryonic Isgur-Wise functions, decay rates and asymmetry parameters. PACS: 12.39.Ki, 13.30.Ce, 14.20.Lq, 14.20.Mr

Constituent-quark model description of triply heavy-baryon nonperturbative lattice QCD data

This paper provides results for the spectra of triply charmed and bottom baryons based on a constituent quark model approach. We take advantage of the assumption that potential models are expected to describe triply heavy baryons to a similar degree of accuracy as the successful results obtained in the charmonium and bottomonium sectors. The high precision calculation of the ground state and po...

Baryon Spectroscopy and the Constituent Quark Model

We explore further the idea that the lattice QCD data for hadron properties in the region mπ > 0.2GeV 2 can be described by the constituent quark model. This leads to a natural explanation of the fact that nucleon excited states are generally stable for pion masses greater than their physical excitation energies. Finally we apply these same ideas to the problem of how pentaquarks might behave i...

Doubly heavy quark baryon spectroscopy and semileptonic decay

Working in the framework of a nonrelativistic quark model we evaluate the spectra and semileptonic decay widths for the ground state of doubly heavy Ξ and Ω baryons. We solve the three-body problem using a variational ansatz made possible by the constraints imposed by heavy quark spin symmetry. In order to check the dependence of our results on the inter-quark interaction we have used five diff...

Heavy quark spectroscopy and prediction of bottom baryon masses

QCD describes hadrons as valence quarks in a sea of gluons and q̄q pairs. At distances above ∼ 1 GeV quarks acquire an effective constituent mass due to chiral symmetry breaking. A hadron can then be thought of as a bound state of constituent quarks. In the simplest approximation the hadron mass M is then given by the sum of the masses of its constituent quarks mi, first written down by Sakharov...
